As a student at Mines, I face challenge not merely by choice but as a reality of day-to-day life. So when I get the opportunity to challenge myself voluntarily in a way not many others can, I feel the urge to share those experiences in a way that does them justice.
I shoot not just to remember the places I've been, but to remember the best parts of the most challenging days of my life, so that every other difficult day feels like a gift. To this end, I hope that sharing the beauty in these difficult things will encourage others to push outside their comfort zones and chase what could be.
My work falls into one of two categories: Nature & Stills, for the landscapes and night skies, and Portraits & Subjects, for the people who push beyond the norm and test their own resolve alongside me.
